Frequently asked questions

  • Campsite reception opening times 

In low season, you are welcome every day from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 6.30pm.
In July and August, every day from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 7.30pm, and on Saturdays all day.
Out of season, we are open by telephone from Monday to Friday, 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5pm.

  • What methods of payment are accepted?

At the time of booking: credit card, bank transfer, cheques, ANCV (classic and connect)
On site: credit card, cash, ANCV (classic and connect)
Cheques are not accepted on arrival.
American Express cards are not accepted.

  • Do I have to pay a deposit?

To guarantee the respect of our rentals & equipment, a guarantee deposit (non-refundable) of 200 EUR will be requested on arrival (by cheque or bank card).

The deposit will be returned to you by post within 10 days of your departure, after deduction of any missing items, damage, cleaning costs, etc. If these costs exceed the amount of the security deposit, the tenant undertakes to pay the difference. The deposit does not constitute a limit of liability.

  • Check In / Check Out

In Low Season (April, May, June & September), you can arrive at any time, just contact us beforehand so that we can prepare your arrival in a rental or bare pitch.

In High Season (July, August), from 12pm (for bare pitches) & 3pm (for rentals). In order to make the most of your stay and to facilitate admissions on your arrival, don’t forget to prepare your deposits.

  • Can I arrive outside reception opening hours?

Yes, it is possible to arrive after reception has closed. Simply let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements and explain how to proceed.

  • What are the arrival days?

In pre-season, arrivals are free. In low season, you can book short stays (2 nights minimum), except for long weekends (1st May, 8th May, Ascension, Pentecost: 3 nights minimum).

In July/August, we offer Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday arrivals for rental accommodation. For pitches, arrival days are free. In high season, rentals are for a minimum of 7 nights. Escape the roads & extend your rental stay by a few days with our 10/11-night packages (certain accommodation only).

  • What about pets?

Pets are welcome on bare pitches and in some rental accommodation (2 maximum, depending on breed, except category 1 and 2 dogs). However, please remember to keep them on a lead at all times on the site, for everyone’s well-being and safety. It is strictly forbidden to leave your pet unattended. Please ensure that your pet leaves the site clean. You are responsible for this. A fee of EUR 4.00 per day will be charged.

Vaccination records must be up to date and will be requested on arrival.

Our friends will be able to make the most of their stay in the Vendée and enjoy beautiful walks through the dunes and forest. Many of the beaches in St Jean de Monts are accessible to our little 4-legged friends, including the one with direct access from the campsite. To find out more.

  • Are barbecues permitted?

We authorise barbecues and planchas. Electric appliances must not exceed 10A. Charcoal barbecues should be used away from mobile home cladding and wooden terraces. Please keep a bottle of water nearby and check that the fire is completely out after each use.

Please note that we do not hire or lend barbecues on site, so remember to bring your own.

  • Can I plug in my car or electric bike in my accommodation?

It is strictly forbidden to plug in cars in the accommodation. A charging point is available on request from reception. Bikes can be recharged if the charger does not exceed 10A.

  • Can I have Wi-Fi on the campsite?

Wifi is free and available throughout the campsite. You will be given a connection code on arrival. If you wish to telework, we advise you to go to the “La Micro-Folie” co-working space in Saint Jean de Monts.
