The campsite’s 4-star services
To make life easier for you while camping at Saint Jean de Monts, we have a wide range of services, facilities and equipment at your disposal: snack bar, bar, convenience store, launderette, wifi, bike hire, and much more… Our priority is to make your stay in the Vendée as practical and enjoyable as possible!
Reception opening times
If you have a special request, don’t hesitate to ask at reception. Our team is here to inform you about life at the campsite, advise you on outings, visits and tourist attractions, as well as activities and leisure activities to enjoy during your holiday in the Vendée.
We welcome you every day from 6 April to 30 September 2024:
- Low season: 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6.30pm.
- In high season: 8.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 7.30pm, with a full day on Saturdays.
Snack bar, bar and grocery shop for easy holidays
During the high season, there’s a snack bar and convenience store on site offering a wide choice of snacks (takeaway meals, pizzas, roast chicken, chips, etc.), fresh bread and pastries every morning, local produce from the Vendée, and a few emergency items. For a drink, a cocktail or an ice cream on the terrace, head to the campsite bar! This is also the venue for the entertainment and camping evenings organised during the summer.
Useful and practical day-to-day services
- Laundry: washing machines, tumble dryers, ironing boards. Tokens (€4) and washing powder pods (€1) are on sale at reception.
- Loan of equipment: iron, clothes rails, hoovers.
- Internet: WiFi coverage throughout the campsite, with free access via a code to be requested from reception.
- Ticket office for Puy du Fou, Planète Sauvage, O’ Gliss Park, O’Fun Park, crossings to Ile d’Yeu.

- Baby kit (depending on age): €4/night (includes high chair, cot and bath)
- Bed linen: €14/bed
- Towels: 6 €/person

Electric vehicle recharging points: to make your holiday easier, two fast recharging points for electric vehicles are available on site.
Bike hire
You can hire bikes on site and set off for a ride along the coast, through the forest or across the marshes from the campsite. Information on cycle paths and greenways in the Vendée is available at reception.
- Adult bike: 1/2 day: €8, full day: €13, whole week: €44.
- Children’s bikes: 1/2 day: €6, full day: €9, whole week: €36, baby seat and children’s trailer by prior arrangement.

A shuttle to get around St Jean de Monts
From the campsite, the summer shuttle “La Littorale” makes it easy to travel between La Barre de Monts and Saint Gilles Croix de Vie (July/August). You can even take your bike with you (booking required). Tickets are on sale on the buses for just €0.50 per journey.
